Three parts of a useful explanation
Start with the proposed change, the named existing work and the separate dental question. These are connected pieces of an explanation. A broad phrase such as straighten my smile leaves more to understand when a proposal also mentions a crown or an implant-supported replacement.
This guide follows a fictional adult whose orthodontist is discussing upper front-tooth alignment. Their dentist has identified an existing crown on a natural back tooth and a separate implant-supported back-tooth replacement. The teaching shows how those supplied facts fit the explanation. It does not assess a reader's teeth or choose an appliance.
You will finish with a complete reading of the proposal and its agreed review sequence. No photograph, scan interpretation or personal compatibility test is needed.
A responsible doctor to explain the proposal
Board-certified orthodontists see every SMILE-FX patient, including at follow-up visits. The Miramar practice offers full-service orthodontics with a digitally driven clear-aligner focus.
That care model gives your orthodontic questions a responsible clinician throughout care. Doctor-reviewed planning and previews can give the conversation a concrete reference; standard smartphone monitoring provides a route for progress information between visits. Existing dental work still needs its own explanation within your individual proposal.

Start at the part you want explained
Use the first lesson to connect a clinician-supplied description of existing work with the named movement goal. Use the complete proposal to see how the orthodontic explanation and restorative question fit together. Use the sequence lesson to understand what the agreed next review is meant to settle.
If your main question is a general adult orthodontic assessment, the existing adult guide supplies that wider context. This guide focuses on interpreting a proposal that names existing work.
